Team Yemen 🇾🇪 2023
Greetings! We are the Yemeni team, and we are delighted to participate in this year's international scientific event, the 2023 FIRST Global Challenge, taking place in SINGAPORE from October 7th to 10th, 2023. We extend our gratitude to the organizing committee for hosting this tournament, which brings together young individuals from all corners of the world who share a passion for science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. Through this competition, we have the opportunity to showcase the abilities and skills of our students, exchange knowledge and information with our global friends, and serve as the proud representatives of our beloved countries. Yemen boasts a rich history and has produced numerous scholars and thinkers who have made significant contributions throughout the ages. Our team comprises six students, along with a mentor, coach, and media person. All the students are studying at the secondary level in different schools. Despite residing in different parts of the country, we maintain daily communication through social media and gather at the Talented Academy, where our team supervisor oversees our shared passion for designing, programming, and integrating robots into various applications and scientific disciplines (STEM).
We are fully prepared to compete this year and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to position Yemen among the scientifically and technologically advanced nations, despite the challenging circumstances currently facing our beloved country. We extend our warm regards to all our friends across the globe, and we are excited to meet them at this global scientific event, where we can exchange knowledge and celebrate our shared love for science and peace, transcending cultural and linguistic differences.
